Systems Administrator

Maintains Avum's development environment networks, systems, and applications at the core level. Serves as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure and provides technical support for internal tools.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain development environment network devices and configurations
- Architect, configure, and troubleshoot systems and applications at the core level
- Serve as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure task
- Support internal tools and platform maintenance (Gitea, Redmine, etc.)
- Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and endpoint management
- Implement and maintain network security policies and monitoring
- Support migration projects and infrastructure upgrades
The salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. Avum offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical (Cigna), dental and vision (Principal), 401(k), PTO, education reimbursement, and certification reimbursement.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field
- 3+ years of system or network administration experience
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA
- AWS or cloud administration experience
- Jamf or MDM platform experience
