Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer based in the NYC tri-state area to join a high-performing Global Infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain robust network and security infrastructure across venue properties, multi-tenant corporate environments, and multi-cloud platforms.
You will play a pivotal role in driving network automation, enhancing cloud compute systems, and scaling infrastructure to support seamless operations across global properties.
Key Responsibilities- Architecture & Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain multi-tenant enterprise network architecture supporting both corporate operations and client-facing environments.
- Network Automation & Monitoring: Build and optimize end-to-end network automation platforms (e.g., Ansible) and proactive monitoring systems to maintain peak operational health.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Maintain and scale AWS-based cloud networking environments as well as Linux/KVM, Kubernetes, and containerized compute platforms.
- Upgrades & Vendor Management: Partner with service providers and cross-functional teams to execute network equipment code/hardware upgrades and automate client provisioning.
- Operations: Participate in day-to-day network operations, process improvement initiatives, and an on-call rotation.
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing enterprise-scale WAN/LAN architectures.
- Routing & Protocols: Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 routing, multi-site VPNs, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPLS, and multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM).
- Hardware & OS: Strong hands‑on expertise with Juniper JunOS (SRX, EX, QFX platforms). Experience with Cisco (IOS/ASA) and Linux environments (RHEL‑based) is highly preferred.
- Wireless Technology: Solid background in enterprise Wi‑Fi architectures (802.11ax/be standards), troubleshooting, RADIUS, and AAA accounting.
- Cloud & Systems: Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud networking, KVM virtualization, and issue‑tracking workflows (Jira).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong technical documentation habits, and a collaborative mindset comfortable wearing multiple hats.
