As an intern at Verizon, you won't just join a specific business unit - you'll gain broad exposure across our entire AI-first ecosystem. We're seeking future-focused builders who combine technical AI fluency with an innate drive to grow. Ideal candidates are agile problem solvers who think in systems, leverage data, and streamline complex processes. Crucially, we're looking for leaders with the capacity to break down silos, influence cross‑functional teams, build lasting trust, and navigate AI ethics with a customer‑first lens-all while collaborating with mentors across business units to help shape the future of tech.

You and your team will be working on a real project in real time: it'll be impactful and timely work that the business depends on.

In recent summers, interns in Consumer AI & Strategy have:

• Assisted with the development, training, and deployment of predictive and propensity models to evaluate customer behaviors, churn risk, and lifecycle triggers.
• Designed, prototyped, and tested autonomous AI agents and tool‑use workflows to solve complex customer service and engagement scenarios.
• Supported micro segmentation and personalization efforts by helping translate model outputs into tailored customer journeys for marketing execution.

In this hybrid internship, based out of Basking Ridge, NJ, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be available.

You'll also join us for the Intern Marquee event in Basking Ridge, a unique, in‑person experience designed exclusively for all US interns. This multi‑day event is your chance to build your connections through structured networking, and be inspired by top executives in a professional environment.
