Job Title: Solution Architect – HR.

Location: Remote (U.S.).

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through Zip Staff — No C2C or 1099).

Zip Staff is seeking a Solution Architect (HR) to design end-to-end business and technology solutions across enterprise platforms for a major healthcare organization.

You will own solution design for HR-related capabilities spanning platforms such as SAP, Workday, and Azure. The role ensures integrations meet functional, non-functional, security, and scalability requirements and that business-process design stays aligned with the target architecture.

• Design end-to-end business and technology solutions across enterprise HR and related platforms.
• Define solution architecture for integrations among SAP, Workday, Azure, and connected enterprise systems.
• Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, and scalability requirements.
• Translate business-process design into implementable architecture and integration patterns.
• Design and guide API-based integration approaches across HR and enterprise platforms.
• Partner with business, HR, architecture, security, and delivery teams to drive solution decisions.
• Produce solution designs, integration patterns, and architecture artifacts that delivery teams can execute.
• Validate that proposed designs align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

• 8–10+ years of solution architecture experience designing end-to-end business and technology solutions.
• Hands-on solution architecture experience with SAP and/or Workday in an enterprise environment.
• Experience designing integrations that meet functional, non-functional, security, and scalability requirements.
• Strong experience with Azure in solution or integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong business process design skills in HR or related enterprise domains.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business, architecture, security, and delivery teams.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship now or in the future).

• Healthcare or other regulated-industry solution architecture experience.
• Experience covering both SAP and Workday in the same landscape.
• Prior M&A, platform-consolidation, or HR transformation architecture experience.
