Position Title – SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant Position Overview

Herdt Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant to support a large-scale federal SAP S/4

HANA program. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP MM and procurement experience, including Complex Contract Management and
Invoice Entitlement,along with knowledge of federal contracting requirements, and the ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into SAP configuration and testing solutions.

• Location: Remote
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Work Schedule: Full-time
• Alignment: W2, 1099, or C2C are acceptable (No 3rd parties, please)

• Support SAP P2P and Materials Management (MM) processes, including complex contract management
  and
  invoice entitlement.
• Translate federal procurement requirements and contract clauses into SAP functional requirements, configuration, and testing.
• Analyze business requirements and conduct fit/gap assessments against SAP functionality.
• Support integrations between SAP and external contract systems using OData, IDoc, XML, APIs, and SAP BTP
  .
• Perform SAP configuration, functional testing, defect resolution, and solution validation.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, integration, and federal business stakeholders throughout solution delivery.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP P2P and MM
  .
• Experience with SAP Ariba Business Network
  .
• Hands-on SAP configuration and testing experience.
• Federal or public-sector SAP procurement experience (Navy preferred)
• Knowledge of federal procurement and financial guidance, including FAR, DFARS, FMR, DCMA, and DFAS requirements.
• Experience translating federal contracting or procurement requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience with SAP integrations and technologies such as OData, IDoc, XML, APIs, and/or SAP BTP
  .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fit/gap analysis skills.

• Previous SAP SRM Public Sector experience.
• End-to-end P2P experience.
• Experience integrating SAP with external contract or procurement systems.
