Location: New York
For our client, we are seeking a VP, User Experience and Design Innovation (Remote Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This executive will shape a user-centered design vision that elevates the product experience and strengthens the company's overall market position. The role will lead UX, design, and research strategy while embedding AI into design workflows and standards. It will also partner closely with executive leadership to align design maturity, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.
Location:
Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $291,250 – $338,750 annually
Responsibilities- Lead and communicate a bold, user-centered design vision for the company's products
- Own and scale AI-driven strategies across design and research functions
- Mentor and expand a team of senior design and functional leaders
- Set strategic direction for design maturity and AI adoption across the organization
- Evolve UX processes and standards while embedding AI into workflows
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate design into key business strategies
- Monitor and report on key metrics linking design initiatives to business outcomes
- 15+ years of experience in cross-functional strategic project delivery
- Proven leadership in building high-performing UX, design, research, or content teams
- Experience managing managers with P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to drive organization-wide AI strategy in design and content
- Deep expertise in B2B SaaS platform methodologies and best practices
- Strong visual design skills with fluency in design tools like Figma
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels
