The Business Analyst is a junior level resource within the Client Data Services Team (IT).

This position is on a hybrid schedule with both onsite and remote work. If the candidate is local the manager would like the candidate to come onsite once every two weeks. If not local, the candidate can work remotely.

The candidate will need to work on agency-supplied laptop. This can be picked up in person or shipped. Equipment must be returned at the end of the contract.

The Business Analyst is a junior level resource within the Client Data Services Team (IT) who will assist the Client Grants and client Budget Teams with day-to-day operational activities including reports testing, web application testing, help desk issue resolution, documentation updates and COTS configurations (Smartsheet). The Business Analyst must be able to forge an independent working relationship with business and external users to manage requirements gathering and issue resolution.

This position reports to the client CIO but will also take direction from the Business Systems Analyst who interacts between the IT team and the business.

Additional description:

• Managing business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverables to a solution
• Identifying and documenting business processes, issues, value levers, metrics, and capabilities
• Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
• Completing analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities
• Conducting interviews to gather business requirements
• Supporting required system maintenance activities, including support desk, site support, training delivery, etc.
• Supporting change management and communications

Expertise with Excel, including writing long formulas, pivot tables, comparing multiple data sources to spot differences.

Required:

2 Years Expertise with testing reports.
