Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Linux Administrator to handle challenging issues and support our ever-expanding global customer base. The ideal candidate is technology driven, detail oriented, and a team player. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company. Mentor and train Junior System Administrators and System Administrators to develop technical expertise and operational best practices.

Lead technical projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Manage incident response activities for escalated issues, coordinating resolution and communication as needed.

Perform the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of internal infrastructure virtual machines (VMs) and services.

Plan, stage, and deploy platform upgrades and updates across the server fleet.

Provision and configure software on new nodes to support production and development environments.

Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for platform and customer-reported issues.

Install, configure, and commission servers by deploying required operating systems, software, and services.

$80,000 – $100,000

Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws.
