our client is currently seeking a qualified asset management technician to join their team onsite in plano, tx and provide end-user support.
duties and responsibilities- manage inventory room while registering newly received printers, monitors, accessories with asset tags into the system
- manage printer servers and ip addresses for printers
- process defective printers and monitors repairs through a repair service vendor
- disposal of aged printers / monitors/ accessories through disposal vendor, and remove asset from the client database
- provide phone and support
- deployment and retrieval of printers, monitors, accessories to users onsite/remote office
- provide support for and maintenance of printers and monitors
- experience using microsoft excel for database management, creating charts and pivot tables
- experience using ticketing system such as servicenow, zendesk, etc. To track and monitor assets
- good communication and customer support skills
- must be organized / detail-oriented
the rate for this position is between $20.25 - $27.00 per hour
, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
