Direct Bank Marketing Strategy Manager
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
This position executes and manages strategy for the Direct Bank including paid media, email, content, and campaign marketing. Manages digital platforms, ongoing enhancements, policies, and support processes across the Bank as well as related associate teams. Collaborates with business leaders and key stakeholders to create and implement a marketing approach that enhances the digital user experience in alignment with bank goals and objectives.
Responsibilities& Qualifications
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy & Support – Manages channel strategy to deliver a client experience that is relevant and competitive in the market. Collaborates with executive and senior management on the development and implementation of marketing programs to support product and customer revenue, retention, and engagement goals across digital media and platforms. Support business development through creation of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, targeting, automation, and performance analysis, to maximize open and click-through rates and drive conversions.
- Digital Performance & Content Management – Manages the channel performance metrics to ensure digital marketing capabilities are effective and meeting Bank goals and objectives. Maintains a strong current knowledge of market trends, best practices and changing conditions to shift strategies accordingly. Recommends and leads initiatives that improve digital operations and profitability with minimal client impact. Collaborates with the creative team and content team to develop compelling and on-brand actionable digital content.
Performs data analysis to measure engagement effectiveness of the content strategy. - Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. May direct associate development programs within the department.
- Vendor Management – Works with executive and senior management on the evaluation of potential vendors for the support and provision of new offerings or channel enhancements. Assists with overseeing existing vendor relationships with software companies and financial services providers to include performance monitoring. Leads request for proposal efforts as needed to select new vendors.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Digital, Information Technology or Marketing, including leadership
The base pay for this position is generally between $140,000 and $170,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
