This paid IT & Tech Internship is a hybrid role based in Bozeman, MT, with some flexibility for work-from-home. Interns will assist with maintaining and improving the platform, including basic troubleshooting, testing new features, and supporting system updates. Day-to-day tasks may include helping with user support requests, documenting technical processes, and working with the team on small development or configuration projects.

Interns will also collaborate with staff to research and propose technical solutions that enhance platform performance and user experience. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real-world technology operations in a community-focused environment.

• Foundational technical skills: basic understanding of software, web applications, or IT systems; familiarity with troubleshooting common technical issues.
• Analytical and organizational skills: ability to document processes, follow technical instructions, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Communication and collaboration: clear written and verbal communication, willingness to ask questions, and ability to work effectively with a small, mission-driven team.
• Learning mindset: interest in community-focused technology, openness to feedback, and motivation to build skills in IT, support, or development.
• Education and availability: currently enrolled in or recently completed a program related to IT, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience); availability to work part-time on-site in Bozeman, MT with some remote flexibility.
