Clinical Applications Analyst; Level II OR Senior; Epic Inpatient

St. Jude is seeking an Epic Clinical Applications Analyst (Senior or Level II) to join the Clinical Applications Epic Inpatient Team. This role supports inpatient clinical workflows through Epic optimization, system configuration, application maintenance, testing, upgrades, issue resolution, and collaboration with operational and clinical stakeholders. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for Epic inpatient applications and contribute to the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care through technology solutions and workflow enhancements.

This position may be eligible for remote work. However, St. Jude requires all remote employees to:

• -Travel to our Memphis campus for the interview process and/or orientation, if selected
• -Travel to Memphis to work on-site for one week per quarter, or as requested based on business needs, if hired

• Proactively engage with stakeholders and vendors to support the delivery of solutions aligned with business plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders and IT peers to develop and communicate strategic vision and initiatives.
• Oversee requirements management, including new demands and escalations for operational requests within assigned departments.
• Lead education efforts related to IT strategy, services, capabilities, change management, and communications.
• Develop and implement IT change and communication plans across assigned departments.
• Create business cases and project proposals based on departmental roadmaps and priorities.
• Develop and present project materials, presentations, and documentation to stakeholders.

Minimum Education and/or Training Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience Four (4) or more years of experience in a comparable client-facing IT role.

Experience working with structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Exposure to moderately complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or research environments preferred.

Demonstrated history leading discussions and documenting resulting business and/or technical requirements, user stories and process flows.

Experience translating business requirements to technical/system requirements.

Demonstrated ability to work with mid to senior-level business leaders.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with mid- to senior-level business leaders.

• Lead and actively participate in meetings with business teams to gather and understand business requirements.
• Analyze emerging business, system, and process needs; escalation complex issues when appropriate.

• Support change management, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Assist in the development of presentations, reports, and documentation for departmental stakeholders.
• Contribute to the optimization and standardization of business requirement gathering processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Mentor team members and support training on established processes and best practices.
