Journeyman Data Analyst

PCI Government Services LLC supports Federal, DoD, and private sector customers with analytics work that helps teams evaluate data and make informed decisions. This on-site Journeyman Data Analyst role is based at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, and centers on data quality, reporting, and actionable written analysis for mission needs.

The position requires an active Secret security clearance and the ability to work on-site in the Huntsville area. You will evaluate statistics and trends, produce finished reports with graphics, and contribute to new reporting tools and interfaces while maintaining daily work reporting.

• USD 100, per yearly

• Evaluate and analyze statistics and trends
• Use query software tools to produce finished reports, statistics, and graphic information aligned to the subject matter
• Analyze and evaluate extracted data for quality assurance, quality control, and data integrity
• Prepare procedures manuals, user guides, and technical documentation, including report development documentation
• Produce written analyses and recommendations
• Develop new reporting tools, views, and interfaces
• Train users on new applications, reporting tools, or system features
• Maintain daily work reports

• Located in the Huntsville, AL area to report on-site at Redstone Arsenal
• Active Secret security clearance
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or information management, plus 4 years of progressively more responsible experience in a professional analytical occupation working with relational databases for data extraction
• Experience with Power Query and Power BI
• Proficiency extracting data from relational databases using query software tools, graphic displays for data presentation, database tools, and spreadsheet software
• Proficiency creating data visualizations and performing data cleaning and preparation
• Proficiency and experience with SQL

• Ability to produce finished reports containing analyses, graphics, and recommendations
• Excellent data analysis skills, plus the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and effective oral communication skills
