NetSuite Developer - LATAM Remote

Workstate is seeking an ET Net Suite Developer to join our expert team in support of an enterprise ERP transition. In this role, you will provide hands‑on Net Suite development and support while helping maintain critical current-state functionality during a broader migration effort.

As a key contributor, you will work with technical, functional, and business stakeholders to understand existing Net Suite customizations, integrations, workflows, and data dependencies. This role requires strong Net Suite development experience, practical ERP knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot production needs while supporting the successful transition of required functionality to the target platform.

This position is remote-friendly and available to residents of Colombia or Argentina with the right to work in their country of residence.

• Provide temporary backfill coverage as the primary Net Suite developer focuses on migration work
• Maintain and support existing Net Suite functionality during the transition period
• Analyze Net Suite customizations, scripts, workflows, saved searches, and integrations
• Support extraction or documentation of Net Suite functionality needed for migration
• Troubleshoot production issues and business process defects in Net Suite
• Collaborate with ERP migration teams to clarify legacy system behavior
• Assist with data conversion, validation, and reconciliation as needed
• Maintain system stability while required functionality is migrated to the Compass platform
• Document current-state Net Suite processes, dependencies, and technical details
• Support users and stakeholders during the temporary transition period

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated some of the following skills professionally, but not necessarily all:

• Net Suite development experience, especially Suite Script
• Experience with Net Suite customization, workflows, saved searches, forms, records, and roles
• Knowledge of Net Suite ERP modules and business processes
• Experience with Suite Talk, RESTlets, SOAP/REST APIs, or other integration methods
• Ability to migrate or rebuild functionality from Net Suite into another ERP platform
• JavaScript experience
• Understanding of accounting, finance, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or operational ERP processes
• Experience with data extraction, reporting, and transition support
• Ability to analyze legacy customizations and determine equivalent functionality in target systems
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
