Cybersecurity Engineer; Remote

This opportunity is for experienced Cybersecurity Professionals, Security Engineers, and CISOs to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects
.

You'll apply your expertise to develop realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios, create reference outputs, and build evaluation frameworks that reflect real-world security operations, incident response, risk management, and governance.

• Develop cybersecurity scenarios covering SOC monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture
  .
• Create tasks across threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and GRC
  .
• Design scenarios using tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Crowd Strike, Tenable, Qualys
  , and enterprise GRC platforms.
• Apply threat modeling, incident response, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Produce reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation
  .
• Develop rubrics that distinguish authentic enterprise security judgment from generic textbook knowledge.

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer, CISO, Security Lead, or related cybersecurity professional.
• Experience owning incident response, security architecture, or compliance initiatives
  .
• Strong knowledge of security operations, cybersecurity tooling, risk management, and current threats
  .
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 frameworks.
• Strong analytical, technical, and written communication skills.

• Experience with organizations such as Mandiant, Crowd Strike
  , or major enterprise security teams.
• CISSP, CISM
  , or an internationally recognized equivalent certification.
• Experience creating security training materials, evaluation rubrics, or compliance documentation
  .
• Expertise across US and international cybersecurity standards
  .
• Familiarity with AI evaluation, machine learning, or data annotation is a plus.

• Competitive compensation of $80-$90/hour.
