Remote Information Security Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Remote Information Security Manager to lead their security initiatives from anywhere in the country. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to protecting our client's digital assets without the need for physical office presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive security strategies, managing security risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic vision, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's overall information security program.
• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee risk management activities, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
• Manage security budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, recommending appropriate solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security , with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful security strategies.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing security operations and incident response in a distributed environment.
