Ana Vation is seeking a senior-level Azure Engineer with an active Secret clearance. This a newly-awarded contract, sothe selected candidate must be a self-starter who is eager to quickly integrate with a high-performing team responsible for accrediting and implementing a new digital evidence platform for our Federal Government client. This is a full-time position that can be performed remotely with occasional travel to Washington DC as needed.

• Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure leveraging IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Architect and implement automated deployment pipelines integrating IaC frameworks with CI/CD platforms(Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
• Develop and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance standards across Azure environments.
• Lead high‑complexity cloud infrastructure projects, driving best practices in automation, monitoring, resilience,and cost optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to evaluate technical requirements and design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced Azure infrastructure issues involving networking, identity, compute, storage, and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Mentor junior and mid-level cloud engineers; provide technical leadership and thought guidance on IaC and cloud modernization.
• Maintain documentation for deployments, architectures, patterns, and operational processes.
• Stay current on Azure platform advancements and advocate for tools or practices that enhance reliability, performance, or engineering efficiency.

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
• Five (5) years of hands-on experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

  • Advanced experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
  • Strong proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Azure services across networking, security, compute, storage, and containers (AKS).
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Power Shell or Python.
  • Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks, identity architectures (Azure AD), RBAC, policies,and security baselines.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with diverse technical teams.

• Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent).
• Experience with platform engineering and building reusable infrastructure modules.
• Familiarity cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

$85,678.38 - $ a year
