We're looking for a curious, analytical, and relationship-focused Business Systems Analyst to join our Underwriting Operations team. In this role, you'll partner with business teams, vendors, and stakeholders to analyze data, improve processes, solve operational challenges, and support strategic initiatives. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys learning, building relationships, taking ownership, and finding ways to make work better.
This role may be filled at the Analyst II or III level depending on experience.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:- Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
- Business Systems Analyst II: $59,800 - $76,180, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Business Systems Analyst III: $68,000 - $87,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.

- Partner with underwriting, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve processes and the customer experience.
- Research and analyze operational challenges by gathering information, evaluating data, identifying trends and root causes, and recommending practical solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports and presentations using Excel and other reporting tools to communicate operational performance, opportunities, risks, and insights that support business decisions.
- Support business operations and key initiatives, including access management, vendor partnerships, testing, implementation activities, issue resolution, process documentation, and other cross-functional projects.
- Build strong relationships and drive continuous improvement by collaborating with internal and external partners, identifying inefficiencies, supporting process changes, and exploring opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research an issue, ask thoughtful questions, analyze information, and develop practical solutions.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze information, identify trends, and support reporting or decision-making.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to listen, collaborate, and effectively communicate with teammates, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and follow through on commitments.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes, take on new challenges, and look for ways to make work more efficient and effective.
- You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
- Experience supporting business operations, process improvement, project coordination, reporting, data analysis, or other analytical work, including experience with dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization.
- Experience coordinating tasks, documenting processes, testing system or process changes, supporting implementations, or working with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with insurance, financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
