Conversion Services Support Engineer; Remote

We are seeking an experienced Support Engineer to join our Conversion Services team. This role combines advanced technical support, software development, systems administration, SQL development, and workflow automation. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, production teams, and internal staff to troubleshoot complex issues, implement technical solutions, and improve operational efficiency. This is a 100% remote position that requires a self-motivated individual who can independently manage multiple projects and deliver excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for enterprise document imaging and workflow systems.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving scanning, OCR, document processing, exports, imports, indexing, and workflow automation.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and reports.
• Analyze customer business requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Design workflow automation that reduces manual effort and improves reliability.
• Deploy, test, and maintain customer implementations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Document solutions, procedures, and technical designs.
• Collaborate with software development and infrastructure teams to resolve product issues.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise business applications.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Experience troubleshooting networking, SFTP, and file transfer issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
