We are looking for an experienced BI professional to support a migration project involving Micro Strategy to Power BI / Pyramid Analytics
for a large financial services organization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Micro Strategy reporting, semantic models, metrics, security, and business logic, along with hands-on experience translating existing reporting frameworks into Power BI or Pyramid Analytics.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of capital markets or investment banking and prior experience delivering at least 12 BI migration projects.

• Analyze existing Micro Strategy reports, dashboards, metrics, and reporting workflows.
• Understand and document existing semantic models, business logic, calculations, and security configurations.
• Translate Micro Strategy reports and underlying business logic into Power BI or Pyramid Analytics.
• Map existing data models, metrics, and KPIs to the target BI platform, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Implement appropriate data access controls, row-level security, and reporting permissions.
• Validate migrated reports and dashboards against existing Micro Strategy outputs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and technical teams to resolve migration-related issues.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, performance, and alignment with business requirements.

• 10+ years of overall experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Micro Strategy reporting and dashboard development.
• Expertise in semantic models, metrics, calculations, security, and business logic within Micro Strategy.
• Practical experience translating Micro Strategy reports and models into Power BI or Pyramid Analytics.
• Experience in at least 12 Micro Strategy migration projects
  to Power BI and/or Pyramid Analytics.
• Strong domain knowledge of capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

A hands-on BI professional who can bridge the gap between legacy Micro Strategy reporting and modern BI platforms, with the ability to understand complex financial business logic and ensure accurate migration of reports, metrics, security, and semantic models.
