IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Washington on a contract basis As a tester you will be responsible for analyzing software and system requirements designing and executing test plans and identifying and reporting any defects or issues The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently This role is suitable for Canadians looking for a contract job without the need for English proficiency or accommodation Students with relevant skills are also welcome to apply Salary $1500 per month contract Location Washington USA remote work possible
Responsibilities- Review software requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Develop test plans test cases and test scripts based on project requirements
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects or issues
- Utilize automated testing tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of testing processes
- Document defects discovered during testing and report them to developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products
- Continuously improve testing processes by incorporating new tools or methodologies
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques
- Experience with various testing tools such as Selenium JIRA or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
