Security Engineer, Imunify

Cloud Linux is a global remote-first company that delivers Linux infrastructure and security products. This role owns end-to-end technical leadership for complex security challenges within the Imunify
360 product, including threat discovery, detection, mitigation, and post-incident review.

• Lead responses to large-scale exploitation and malware campaigns across the product protection layers
• Reverse-engineer malware targeting Linux servers and web applications
• Own the security incident response process and coordinate with external parties
• Raise detection quality, build automated analysis pipelines, and write production-grade tooling
• Mentor analysts and engineers and contribute to security hiring and practices

• 10+ years in security engineering, malware research, incident response, or offensive security
• Strong hands-on malware analysis and reverse engineering skills
• Deep web application security and practical exploitation experience
• Deep Linux knowledge from attacker and defender perspectives
• Production coding in Python and a systems language such as Go, Rust, or C
• Experience with coordinated vulnerability disclosure and security community engagement
