Overview

Account Executive, Property and Casualty, Schaumburg, IL — Full-time at MST Insurance Solutions, Inc. This role focuses on the Property and Casualty sector with a client-first approach and opportunities to work from home in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with a portfolio of 10-20 mid to large-sized accounts to drive client retention and provide exceptional service through virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Collaborate with a team to deliver proactive risk management and tailored insurance solutions.
  • Assist in acquiring new business with the potential to earn commissions; contribute to growth and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings with appropriate professional attire; maintain strong client relationships and effective communication throughout the account management process.
  • Mentor and inspire junior staff and contribute to a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Adapt to a hybrid work environment (generally in-office one day per week with the option to work from home other days) and travel as needed (approximately 25%).
Qualifications
  • Active Property and Casualty license
  • 7 or more years of commercial insurance account management experience
  • Solid knowledge of all lines of coverage across multiple industries
  • Ability to explain coverages clearly to clients
  • Drive renewal strategy and provide top-tier service to retain clients
  • Creative thinker to identify tailored solutions for each client
  • Mentor and inspire junior staff; strong teamwork and frequent communication
  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills; openness to feedback
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to learn new systems
  • Professional demeanor and growth mindset
Benefits and Compensation
  • Competitive base salary: $110,000 – $139,000 per year
