We are seeking an experienced Service & Broking Manager to lead and optimize service operations for our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance division. This role is responsible for managing all service activities with team leaders ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional client service.

We are seeking an experienced Service & Broking Manager to lead and optimize service operations for our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance division. This role is responsible for managing all service activities with team leaders ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional client service.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute long- and short-term strategic plans aligned with corporate goals.

  • Implement policies, procedures, and technology to improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

  • Monitor and report on fiscal performance, service metrics, and operational KPIs.

  • Oversee service team operations for P&C insurance, including:

    • Managing day‑to‑day servicing of commercial lines accounts.
    • Supervising renewal processes and coordinating with carriers.
    • Handling escalated client service issues and resolving complex coverage questions.
    • Training and mentoring account executives and account managers.
    • Coordinating with producers to support new business and retention goals.
    • Maintaining accurate client records in the agency management system.
    • Driving process improvements to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
    • Oversight of the renewal strategy process in collaboration with Sales Leadership.
  • Broking Responsibilities

    • Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers to secure optimal coverage for clients.
    • Place coverage for new and renewal business in accordance with client needs and market availability.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and build skills within the team to do the same.
    • Provide carrier feedback to the Line of Business Leader, Carrier Relationship Leader and Sales Leadership.
    • Ensure competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage options through effective market negotiations.
    • Analyze market trends and provide strategic recommendations for broking activities.
    • Collaborate with producers and account managers to structure programs that meet client objectives.
    • Manage submissions and ensure timely delivery of proposals to clients.
    • Work with Line of Business Leader and Carrier Relationship Leader to resolve placement issues and advocate for clients during claims or coverage disputes.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of related experience in commercial insurance operations and service leadership

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and agency workflows.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and manage compliance.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in agency management systems and insurance technology platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Exempt Status

Yes = not eligible for overtime pay, No = eligible for overtime pay

Compensation Range

$93,000-$189,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
