- Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
- Perform complex analysis of data with minimal oversight
- Develop and analyze new methodologies for commercial insurance loss reserving
- Evaluate analytical work done by others, making informed decisions and recommendations
- Provide training to Actuarial Analysts
- BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area
- At least 5 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial or personal lines insurance (Commercial Auto preferred)
- Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as SQL, R, Python, etc.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
- Effective computer software programming skills
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic actuarial industry knowledge
