What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Prepare and coordinate analyses for insurance rating and support individual account pricing
  • Conduct actuarially sound statistical analysis and document findings for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support and insights
  • Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality work and drive innovation
  • Provide analytical support to other functions on an ad hoc basis
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis, or a graduate degree with 3 years of experience
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or Radar
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Actuarial analysis experience in Commercial Auto lines insurance
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, including formal presentation experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Participation in employee resource groups or community volunteering
