JCW is currently working on behalf of a well-respected carrier looking for a strong WC Claims Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities- Manage complex Workers’ Compensation claims end-to-end, ensuring timely, accurate handling in line with best practices
- Evaluate compensability, coverage, exposure, fraud indicators, and subrogation opportunities by analyzing medical and factual evidence, developing proactive claim strategies, and collaborating with counsel, SIU, and internal partners as needed.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for policyholders, agents, attorneys, and medical providers, building strong relationships through clear communication, on-site meetings, claim reviews, and onboarding support across PA.
- 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience with strong working knowledge of PA, MD, and/or DE regulations, medical terminology, benefit administration, and full-cycle claim resolution.
- WC adjuster license in DE and/or CT (or ability to obtain), with flexibility to travel 2–3 days per week.
