• Address and handle high-end cases involving serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios
• Review reports/forms, respond to inquiries, and communicate resolutions to appropriate parties
• Develop strategies for settlements and manage the legal investigation process
• Formulate defense strategies and identify subrogation opportunities
• Participate in mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as needed

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred;
  Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience handling litigation, including five (5) years in claims management
• Subject matter expertise in insurance principles and laws relevant to the line of business
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and strong organizational skills

• Experience in a team environment and strong negotiation skills
• Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
• Analytical and interpretive skills
