• Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure
• Analyze coverage, determine compensability, and establish benefits
• Negotiate settlements and establish reserves for claims
• Conduct meetings with insureds and claimants, both over the phone and in person
• Prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences

• Minimum of 7 years of proven success in California workers' compensation claims adjusting experience, with consideration for candidates with 10+ years
• Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with industry designations such as Associate in Claims is preferred

• Experience with higher exposure claims in California workers' compensation
• Additional industry designations or certifications
• Proven ability to develop strategies for claims resolution
• Experience working with defense attorneys and other vendors in the claims process
