• 10+ years of life underwriting experience
• Strong financial acumen and advanced risk assessment skills
• Confidence and flexibility in making complex decisions
• Collaborative spirit and a passion for continuous learning
• Completion of relevant certifications such as FALU, CLU, FLMI, and EKG preferred

• Experience with advanced risk-based decision-making in underwriting
• Knowledge of medical and non-medical underwriting principles
• Established relationships with reinsurance partners
• Proven ability to mentor and train less experienced underwriters
• Involvement in industry meetings and continuing education programs
