Reporting to the Commercial Lines Manager, the Commercial Lines Account Executive will deliver comprehensive client services for a designated property and casualty book of business. This portfolio will include both new and renewal accounts within the agency. Opportunities for in-office, hybrid, or remote work arrangements are available.
Tasks/Responsibilities- Manage a book of business (new and renewal) accounts for small to middle market commercial accounts.
- Utilize the agency management system (Applied EPIC) for all servicing and processing tasks related to client requests and needs, such as the issuance of certificates of insurance and policy changes.
- Provide accurate, thoughtful, and prompt services to all clients and related client stakeholders within 24 hours of when the request is received from the client.
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently enhance knowledge of all assigned accounts and effectively market renewals to various carrier partners as required.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of the property and casualty markets by utilizing the resources provided by the agency.
- Through account proposals, provide accurate summaries of coverage, submissions, and presentations using various Microsoft Office products.
- Provide all necessary support to Producers/Sales Agents in maintaining their current book of business and prospects in the pipeline.
- Ability to be a key liaison between Producers/Sales Agents and clients, as well as between the agency and carrier partners.
- A A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in handling commercial insurance accounts across various industry sectors is required, while more than 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Ability to provide exceptional client service to all accounts within your assigned book of business.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A A current active driver's license is required.
- An active Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
- Experience using an agency management system (Applied TAM, Applied EPIC, AMS 360) is preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- The candidate should possess self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently while also maintaining a high level of interaction with team members and external stakeholders related to the client (such as carriers and lenders) is essential.
- Proactively manage and protect the agency’s reputation and confidential client information.
