Assistant Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

Assists Account Manager by doing data entry or by assisting in any other areas as instructed by the Account Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Requires working to established procedures and meeting deadlines.
• Maintains knowledge of underwriting criteria for carriers represented by the agency.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision and have good problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to understand policy forms, rating and coverage descriptions.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer programs.
• Type 30 – 45 wpm.
• High School Diploma required.
• Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• A Hawaii Property-Casualty insurance producer’s license required by the State of Hawaii Department of Insurance preferred.
• Other duties as required by the position.
