The Strategic Partnerships Manager plays a key role in expanding the Cavco Insurance Division's footprint through high-value partnerships, dealer relationships, and acquisition opportunities. This individual will focus on sourcing, nurturing, and converting opportunities within the manufactured housing, dealer, and community insurance segments combining relationship-building skills with an understanding of insurance distribution models to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive measurable growth.
CompensationBase Salary: $90,000 annually, OTE $180K
Core Responsibilities and Duties- Identify and develop new strategic accounts, referral relationships, and partnership opportunities within target markets.
- Manage a robust pipeline of accounts, fronting opportunities, and agency acquisition prospects in Hub Spot.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align partnership strategies with agency growth goals.
- Lead discussions with insurance carriers and potential fronting partners to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Research and engage potential independent insurance agencies for acquisition evaluation.
- Represent Cavco Insurance Division in industry events, trade associations, and partnership collaborations.
- Property & Casualty Insurance License strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance business development, carrier relations, or agency growth roles; MGA or fronting experience highly valued.
- Proven success prospecting, quoting, and binding commercial accounts, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of commercial lines coverages, rating, and underwriting processes, especially within the manufactured housing, dealer, or community insurance sectors.
- Ability to analyze client needs, develop tailored insurance solutions, and communicate coverage proposals effectively to both retail and wholesale audiences.
- Demonstrated success sourcing fronting agreements or carrier‑agency partnerships.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and helping facilitate agency acquisition opportunities, including due diligence coordination and financial assessments.
- Strong understanding of commercial lines—particularly within manufactured housing, dealers, or community insurance programs.
- Proven track record managing CRM‑based pipelines (Hub Spot familiarity preferred) to drive measurable new business outcomes.
- Excellent negotiation, financial, and strategic communication skills when interacting with carriers, agencies, and executive counterparts.
- High level of professional autonomy, able to balance entrepreneurial initiative with structured reporting and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and be able to operate a computer or other office productivity machinery on a constant basis.

- Occasionally required to move about the office, ascend/descend stairs or a ladder or position self to maintain computers at workstation, including under the desk or other low areas

- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Position may require temporary remote work based on business needs and is at the sole discretion of the company. Employee must have Wi‑Fi connectivity, a smart phone, and a designated work area in their home.
