We are currently seeking an Assistant Claims/Risk Manager to join our team in St. Paul, MN.
Position OverviewAs an Assistant Claims/Risk Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Claims and Risk Management operations. This position involves investigating claims, conducting safety inspections, and promoting risk awareness across insured locations. It’s ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a background in liability and property insurance, and a passion for service and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Verify coverage, investigate and negotiate fair property settlements, liability claims and auto claims
- Conduct annual safety inspections and promote safety awareness through seminars and educational materials
- Monitor Risk Management policies and assist in keeping them current
- Perform site inspections to ensure proper property coverage and limits
- Maintain communication with diocesan personnel, pastors, and administrators
- Act as liaison between the Arch/Diocese and CMG Home Office
- Assist the Claims/Risk Manager with various risk management functions
- Respond to emergencies and claim issues during irregular hours as needed
