Program Overview

The Farmers Protégé Agency Producer Program is a paid apprenticeship designed for high‑potential professionals who want to own their own insurance agency but need real training, income stability, and hands‑on experience before taking that leap.

You’ll work inside an established Farmers agency while being developed directly by the Farmers District Office, gaining real‑world sales experience, business training, and mentorship—all with a clearly defined path toward agency ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Work warm inbound leads and referrals through an established Farmers agency
  • Quote, sell, and service Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products
  • Learn consultative selling, cross‑selling, and client retention strategies
  • Build a personal book of business while developing leadership skills
  • Receive hands‑on exposure to agency operations, sales management, and business ownership
  • Train with Farmers’ systems, underwriting processes, and growth strategies
  • Prepare for the transition into your own Farmers agency

Requirements
  • Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license (General Lines) required for program graduation. (If you’re not licensed, we can help!)

  • Comfortable with accountability, goals, and growth
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Sales, finance, real estate, recruiting, or leadership experience is a plus — but not required.
