Salary Range: $60,

About the Role:Join CCMSI as a Workers' Compensation Claim Consultant, supporting our Minnetonka, MN branch. In this role, you will manage a multiple‑account desk focused on MN, SD, and WI jurisdictions. You will handle a variety of workers' compensation claims, including manufacturing and commercial trucking accounts. We're looking for someone who can handle claims accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities- Investigate, evaluate, and adjust workers' compensation claims in compliance with jurisdictional laws and company guidelines.
- Accurately set reserves and monitor ongoing claim exposure.
- Authorize and process appropriate medical and legal bill payments.
- Negotiate and settle claims in accordance with client and state requirements.
- Maintain detailed claim documentation and adhere to CCMSI's diary system.
- Ensure timely and corrective action is taken on each claim file.
- Effectively communicate with clients, claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors.
- Participate in client meetings, trainings, and claim reviews as needed.
Required:
- 2+ years of workers' compensation claims handling experience in MN, SD, and/or WI jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Previous experience handling manufacturing and/or commercial trucking claims.
- Familiarity with multiple account servicing and client customization.
Performance is measured through regular file audits, client feedback, and supervisor evaluations. Remote or hybrid status is contingent on meeting performance and attendance standards.
