The Loss Control Specialist role is a remote position and requires the candidate to live in either Western Washington State or Oregon.
Job OverviewThe Loss Control Specialist represents CIG to our policyholders, providing loss control inspection and consultation as needed. Responsible for supporting loss control strategies focused on risk selection and pricing support to improve overall quality and profitability of the Company’s book of business.

- Minimum 5 years of inspection experience with a municipality or insurance inspection company is desirable
- College degree or coursework in business, risk management, health & safety, physical science, fire protection, building code, drafting, engineering, or science
- Familiarity with NFPA and building-code regulations
- Laws, regulations, policies, and procedures of Insurance Loss Control
- Computer systems – Microsoft Office
- Clean MVR and current/valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Salary Range: $47,622- $78,576
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as benefits and bonus programs.
