Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Act as the owning adjuster when injury exposure is identified, managing claims with a settlement limit of up to $25,000.
  • Handle simple to moderate first and third-party auto liability cases involving injury.
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence.
  • Make coverage determinations and communicate effectively with customers regarding their claims.
  • Manage productivity by seeking claim assignments through designated queues in the claims system.
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry.
  • 2-3 years of claims experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with a good command of the English language.
  • Ability to work independently and manage communications effectively.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for role-related meetings.
