We are seeking an experienced
GL and Excess Claims Adjuster III
to join our team and manage a caseload of General Liability and Excess claims in multiple states. If you have deep knowledge of liability policy language and a passion for achieving the best outcomes for complex claims this is the role for you

As a GL and Excess Claims Adjuster III you will manage new loss assignments reassignments and proper reserve setting. You will perform coverage analysis determine responsibilities to defend and indemnify and identify choice of law issues. Your work will focus on identifying issues that need resolution including risk transfer opportunities that create the best possible outcomes

You will report to a Claim Manager within the GL and Excess group and have the opportunity to utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources including generative AI to enhance your work

• Manage a caseload of
  GL and Excess Claims in multiple states
• Manage new loss assignments reassignments and proper reserve setting
• Perform coverage analysis determine responsibilities to defend and indemnify and identify choice of law issues
• Identify issues that need resolution and determine methods to use including a focus on risk transfer and resolutions that create best outcomes
• Draft complex coverage letters including reservation of rights DISCLAIMERS and responses to push back letters
• Develop legal strategy with counsel and manage GL and Excess litigation consistent with litigation guidelines including both Coverage Counsel and Defense Counsel
• Identify appropriate cases for trial and complete pre trial reports and trial activities
• Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources including generative AI to support claims management

• You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of
  GL and Excess Claims experience will consider candidates with demonstrated increasing responsibility in GL
• Your caseload experience includes
  child abuse and sexual assault matters
• You have a technical background with an emphasis on coverage issue identification and policy interpretation
• You have in depth knowledge of liability policy language and coverage interpretation
• You have work experience in a regulated environment and ability to ensure compliance with company procedures
• You have a college degree
• You are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future
