Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Serve as the owning adjuster for injury exposures, managing claims with independent settlement authority up to $25,000
  • Handle simple to moderate first and third‑party auto liability cases involving injury
  • Conduct investigations, negotiate settlements, and make coverage determinations
  • Manage communications and claims assignments through the claims system
  • Evaluate potential for subrogation and present cases for settlement approval
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with a good command of the English language
  • Ability to work independently and manage productivity effectively
  • Developing understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to shaping company culture through participation in employee resource groups and community involvement
  • Willingness to travel as needed for meetings and events
