Casualty Specialist, Evaluator; Remote

• Serve as the assigned adjuster for injury exposures, managing both first and third-party claims
• Handle claims with exposure valued less than $25,000, including homeowner liability and medical payments
• Conduct investigative work, including witness interviews and evidence analysis
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on appropriate actions
• Negotiate and settle claims independently within established authority

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to type 30 words per minute

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of casualty experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Active participation in employee resource groups or community volunteering
• Willingness to travel as needed for role-related meetings
