Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the owning adjuster for identified injury exposures, managing first and third‑party claims
  • Handle claims with exposure valued less than $25,000, including simple homeowner losses
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
  • Make coverage determinations and communicate effectively with customers
  • Present cases in Committee settings for claims requiring above settlement authority
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to type 30 words per minute
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to company culture through community involvement
  • Willingness to travel for role‑related meetings and events
