Casualty Specialist, Evaluator; Remote

• Manage and resolve both represented and unrepresented first and third-party injury claims with exposure valued under $25,000
• Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on coverage issues
• Handle communications with claimants through various channels, including writing and telephone
• Present cases for settlement authority and negotiate claim resolutions

• High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Basic math and computer skills, with a typing speed of 30 words per minute

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of casualty claims experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to company culture through participation in employee resource groups or volunteering
• Willingness to travel for divisional/team meetings and other in-person engagements
