Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Serve as the assigned adjuster for injury exposure cases, managing both represented and unrepresented claims
  • Handle simple to moderate first and third-party auto liability cases involving injury
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
  • Make coverage determinations and communicate effectively with customers about their claims
  • Evaluate potential for subrogation and develop negotiating strategies for claims settlement
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • 2-3 years of claims experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with a good command of the English language
  • Ability to work independently and make strong decisions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Active participation in employee resource groups or volunteer initiatives
  • Willingness to travel as needed for role-related activities
