Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the owning adjuster for injury exposures, managing both first and third-party claims
  • Handle claims with independent settlement authority of up to $25,000
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
  • Make coverage determinations and advise customers on proper actions regarding their claims
  • Manage claim productivity through designated queues and self-managed triage
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • 2-3 years of claims experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a good command of the English language
  • Strong decision-making ability and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Participation in employee resource groups or community volunteering
  • Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings and in-person events
