Casualty Specialist, Evaluator; Remote

• Act as the owning adjuster for injury exposure cases, managing claims with a settlement limit of up to $25,000
• Handle both first and third-party auto liability cases, including simple homeowner losses
• Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on related issues
• Negotiate and settle claims within assigned authority, presenting cases when necessary

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and manage productivity effectively
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency, including typing at least 30 words per minute

• BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of casualty experience
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

• Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings and other in-person events
