- Serve as the owning adjuster for injury exposure cases, managing both first and third-party claims
- Handle simple to moderate auto liability cases and assist with homeowner losses during catastrophes
- Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
- Make coverage determinations and advise customers on proper actions related to coverage issues
- Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority, presenting cases in committee when necessary
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a good command of the English language
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
- Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute
- BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of casualty claims experience
- Bilingual skills
- Demonstrated respect for diverse backgrounds through effective communication
- Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
