Casualty Specialist, Evaluator; Remote

• Serve as the owning adjuster for injury exposure cases, managing both first and third-party claims
• Handle simple to moderate auto liability cases and assist with homeowner losses during catastrophes
• Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on proper actions related to coverage issues
• Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority, presenting cases in committee when necessary

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a good command of the English language
• Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
• Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute

• BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of casualty claims experience
• Bilingual skills
• Demonstrated respect for diverse backgrounds through effective communication
• Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
