Casualty Specialist, Evaluator; Remote

• Manage and adjust claims involving injury exposure, both first and third-party, with a settlement limit of up to $25,000
• Conduct investigations, make coverage determinations, and negotiate settlements for claims
• Handle communications with claimants via writing, phone, and electronic means
• Support the claims organization with small claims and low complexity property damage claims
• Present cases in committee settings and negotiate claims above settlement authority when necessary

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions effectively
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills with the ability to type 30 wpm

• BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of casualty claims experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
