Position: Casualty Specialist, Evaluator (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Act as the owning adjuster for injury exposures, handling first and third‑party cases with a settlement limit of up to $25,000
  • Manage communications regarding claims through writing, phone calls, and electronic means
  • Conduct investigative work, including interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence
  • Make coverage determinations and advise customers on proper actions regarding coverage issues
  • Negotiate and settle claims independently within established authority
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
  • 2-3 years of claims experience
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with a good command of the English language
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of casualty experience
  • Bilingual skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to company culture through participation in employee resource groups or volunteering
  • Willingness to travel for team meetings and other in‑person engagements
