Casualty Specialist, Evaluator; Remote

• Act as the owning adjuster for injury exposure claims, managing both first and third‑party cases with a settlement limit of up to $25,000
• Conduct investigations, negotiate settlements, and manage communications regarding claims
• Handle simple to moderate auto liability cases and assist with homeowner loss claims during catastrophes
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on appropriate actions related to coverage issues
• Represent the insured at settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials when necessary

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions effectively
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute

• BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1‑3 years of casualty claims experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Demonstrated involvement in shaping company culture through participation in employee resource groups or volunteering
• Willingness to travel as needed for meetings and events
